Post-grad life (thus far)
This has probably been the craziest month of my life (and I’ve had cancer.) In the span of a week I graduated from college, had to put down my best friend Cutter, and moved to downtown San Diego. On the last night of me moving stuff from the old house to the new one, I went to Amanda’s birthday party and then headed out on a week-long road trip with Justin and Kelly. So many rocks in my life have left in such a short amount of time. When it rains it…kicks you in the balls, eh? I really miss Cutter.
Concerning the road trip:
We left at midnight on a Friday and our first stop? Vons for a 30 pack of Keystone light, coca-cola (and some Big Fizz cola), and a bunch of candy. I can’t imagine being more prepared for what we went through. I wrote about the trip in a journal I brought along while Justin, Kelly and whoever else drew a bunch of stuff in it. Maybe I’ll transcribe my writings or at least scan in some choice pages from it.
At my graduation party my camera was dropped (still quite upset about that…grrrr…drunk people and hard surfaces!) so I’m borrowing my Ma’s digital camera till I can get a *real* job and afford a new camera. So it goes. Her camera does the trick but it’s pretty old-school…maybe isntead of taking new pictures I’ll get around to formatting and uploading the dozen picture albums I have sitting on my desktop. I only keep them there to remind me to work on them…instead of just reminding, I need a way to coerce myself to actually work on them. So it goes.
I’m going to a concert tonight (Ratatat at the House of Blues) so that should be fun! I’ll see you later. : )
