And on the 8th day he…

I finished another photo album but can’t seem to log into the ol’ bro server tonight…I’ll have to check with Patrick or Sameer to see if they’ve played some sort of April-Fools-in-May joke on me and changed the password.

This past Monday, Memorial Day, was the best day off I can remember. I typically only get one day off a week so my Sundays are usually dotted with chores and other responsibilities. Monday was great because I did whatever I wanted without worrying about deadlines or assignments or anything. Hell, I think I stayed in my comfy-PJs till 2 in the afternoon! : ))) I think I need more 3-day weekends.

After Monday I feel rejuvenated. I’ve been completing all the little chores that have been piling up over the weeks and I’m starting to feel like I’m catching up with my school & work load. My post-graduation strat is falling into place and things are generally getting easier…for now…until finals roll around. 0.o

My senior project is shaping up to be a decent one and my internship is affording me a lot of time to work on it. Getting paid to do school work is the way to go, man. I’m applying to a number of jobs for the city and I’m planning on applying to some other gov’t jobs as well. Gotta get my bills paid and put some money in the bank (or into my Capstone stocks! : D)

Goodnight everybody everybody.

New Pictures!

By Ryan, May 24, 2008 4:03 am

Friday nights seem like the best nights for getting LivingComfortEagle (LCE) stuff done. I have to go to work every Saturday morning so on Fridays it seems best for me to just stay home for the evening, have a couple o’ brews and do a bunch of photo editing and uploading for the site. Here are a few new albums I uploaded tonight:

American Craft Beer Week Party

Quiamaca Hike

Holiday Party (2007)

I have a bunch more pictures that I hope to get up in the next week so keep checking back for any new developments.

Also, over the past few days I’ve given Stroke City‘s blog a face lift and linked to some new (non-comic) content so be sure to check that out as well! I’ve been reading a bunch of the old blogs and I’m just upset that I can’t integrate them into the new blog. So it goes. : (

Goodnight!

The Generation Gap

My Pa just called me from a concert to tell me how epic it is and that he’ll talk to me later. And here I am, on a Saturday night, blogging about it. It’s like I live in a bizzaro world where up is down, left is right, and when you leave you say “Hello.”

Hello!

Olive Branch Brewing Company

By Ryan, May 9, 2008 2:58 pm

Hello hello!  I’m studying for a midterm at the moment but figured I’d stop on by for a quick post.  Since my last update, MJ purchased me a beer brewing kit and I’ve made my first batch of “Olive Branch Brewing Co.” beer.  It took me a few days to finally settle on that name…I hope you like it.  It’s not as whimsical as “Redfield Ranch Firewater Factory” or as funny as “Feel My Port and Ale Brewing Co.” and it doesn’t have the same back-story as “Reef Bobo Brewing Co.” but I like the feelings that the name Olive Branch evokes.  I’ll post pictures of the process once I get the photo archives up to snuff.  : )

I’ll try to post something more interesting later tonight (after my midterm) so check back soon!  See ya.
